Type: A.F.G. Kerr 1149 ([28 April 1910]; Lectotype: K [000763494^{(GBIF, JSTOR)}, herbarium specified by Bremekamp 1934]; Isolectotype: BM [BM000945420^{(GBIF, JSTOR)}]).
Type locality: Siam [= Thailand]. [Chiang Mai:] Doi Sutep[Doi Suthep], 300–600 m., deciduous forest.
